We greatly appreciate your patronage, and look forward to serving you better.

Everything here is intended to help inform and/or entertain our many friends and patrons. However, nowadays there's also a need to clearly state somewhere or other many things that used to be left unsaid. So, just in case it's ever necessary, here's a bit of "fine print" to clarify the ground rules for this entire site. Please remember these guidelines are intended to help everyone better enjoy and gain greater and more lasting benefit from this site.


Privacy Policy

We respect everyone's right to privacy, and we expect you will too. Specifically, we will not ever share any personal information you've entrusted to us, such as your email address, phone number, or anything else, without your specific advance permission. For instance, our mailing list is confidential, and that's that.

However, if you choose to share such things here—while we strongly recommend against it—we nevertheless recognize that it's your right to have that choice, and thus we expect you to not hold us responsible for any consequences whatsoever of your own actions.

That said, the inclusion of such personal information may be sufficient reason for us—in the event that we happen to have the opportunity to do so, and should happen to recognize it as personal information, whether it's your or anyone elses—to edit or delete those portions of the aforesaid information, or to omit or remove any such posting entirely, as we may see fit, and without notice.


Contributor's Rights and Responsibilities

We warmly welcome contributions in the form of comments, emails, and so on from all and sundry, however, we also have some expectations about the ground rules by which everyone should abide. Specifically,...

• Regardless of the method or vehicle of transmission, submissions of photos, text, artwork, or anything else, whether solicited or unsolicited, all automatically become the sole property of Chateau Hair Designs Salon & Spa, to do with or ignore as we may please, entirely at our sole discretion. Copyrights remain with their respective owners, but your submission is tacit acknowledgment that you bear any legal responsibility, and represents permission for us to do with it whatsoever we please, possibly including but not limited to editing, alteration, creation of derivative works, inclusion in promotions, products, and so on. We will not knowingly infringe on the rights of others, and we expect you will do likewise.

• For those things you may supply, no expectation of compensation of any kind is either offered or implied, including but not limited to even simple attribution of source, unless prior arrangements have been made in writing. Of course, we're not ogres, and while we are not under any obligation to give you even a byline on your comments, reviews, photos, or other things you may choose to freely send us, very likely we'd most often be delighted to do so.

• No adult or X-rated content, period. We expect people of all backgrounds and ages to enjoy both our onsite and online facilities, and we will not compromise in the areas of decency and good taste.

• No spam.

• No advertising or solicitation for any other service or business except as may be required by our web hosting services or freely donated in appreciation of the services rendered by our web design and implementation partners. (Thanks again—You know who you are.)

Disclaimer

For the convenience and benefit of our friends and patrons, we hope to keep our online information both accurate and up-to-date. However, please recognize that we are under no obligation to do so. Further, if any differences or discrepancies should be found between what's physically posted in our shop versus what's posted online, or what's emailed, printed or distributed by any means in any of our brochures , advertisements or other materials, then the information physically posted at Chateau Hair Designs Salon & Spa, at 57 South Main Street, Fairport, NY, shall always have priority and precedence, and shall supersede any and all other sources.
